Our names are Licia Rossetti and John Lund. We are currently in our 10th year of teaching abroad at the American International School of Guangzhou in Guangzhou, China.  Licia is a certified Kindergarten – 12th grade art teacher and K-6 general education certified. John is a certified technology teacher for 6th – 12th grades and a technology integration specialist.

Licia has been an art teacher for 16+ years and has one prior year Kindergarten teaching experience. John has been a media arts and computer science teacher for 9+ years and a professional media artist for the past 15 years.  We feel that we both can offer a wide range of assets to any school. Licia is a rare find in that she can teach 3 year olds all the way to seniors in high school. She is also K-6 general education certified. John’s professional experience combined with his numerous years in the classroom offer a unique and authentic experience for his students. In addition to teaching all things computer science and multimedia, including IB DP Computer Science experience, and technology integration, John is a professional media artist with many years as a web developer, animator, and video editor, which could be an added asset.

We have absolutely loved our experience teaching in Mexico and China, but we feel it is time for a new chapter.  We adopted our son in December of 2017 and have hopes to show him as much of the world’s cultures as we are able.  After over nine years teaching abroad, we know how powerful it is to immerse yourself in another culture. We want that for our son Cypress and know that continuing to teach internationally can make that possible.
